5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Roanoke Pumpkin Run 5K and The Candy Mile! The races will start at the Roanoke Recreation Center 501 Roanoke Rd. Roanoke, TX. 76262. The Candy Mile will start at 8 A.M. and the 5K will start at 8:30 A.M. The course is loop style, it will start and finish at the same place. The course is well marked and mostly flat.
Candy Mile participants will not receive a T-Shirts. Photos will be taken by Movin Pictures. The 5K will be Chip Timed by Run2Win Timing Services. Kids under 10 run 5K FREE! (See Timer For Free Chip Bib.) Costumes welcome! Bring the whole family out for a great time!
Plaques will be awarded to the overall male/female and overall male/female masters. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male/female finishers in each age group. Candy Mile participants will receive a candy goody bag. 5K price increases: Sept. 1st thru Oct. 21st $30, Oct. 22nd thru Oct. 28th. $32, and race day $35. Candy Mile price increases: Sept. 1st thru Oct. 21st $13, Oct. 22nd thru Oct. 28th $15, and race day $18. You MUST register BEFORE Oct. 21st to be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
PACKET PICKUP: Friday October 28th at 205 N Oak St. Roanoke, TX. 76262 in the Cavnar-Smith Insurance Agency parking lot from noon to 5 P.M. and race day from 6:30 A.M. to 8 A.M. Race day registration closes at 8:20 A.M.
